Coming from someone (me) who failed spectacularly as a father in many situations, but not all of them, this is real world self-coaching advice that will change the way you look at your past, your parents, yourself and your kids.
When I changed, my kids changed. I thought my son would never talk to me again a few short years ago. Now, we talk almost every day. And he tells me he loves me all the time, and appreciates me.
My daughter is definitely my daughter. Headstrong, smart, defiant and stubborn. I helped create that, and it took both of us understanding what’s in here, and using it, to go from butting heads to forming an unbreakable bond that I am thankful for every day. She makes me laugh, cry and think, often in the same 5-minute conversation!
