In February 2024 I found out my sister had Leukemia. Soon after, we discovered I was the only person who was a close enough match to donate stem cells to help her. The only problem was that I had ballooned to 135kg and was on the edge of being too obese for the procedure.
I’d had ups and downs my whole life and I’d been working on my books and methods for a few years, but it was always easier to work on other people.
This new situation was the situation I needed to really look in and make the changes I knew I needed to.

It wasn’t easy. Eating habits, exercise habits. Thought habits and work habits all had to change. The next several months was easier than I realised once I determined one thing: Who I needed to be.

From that I sat and used my own frameworks every day, using visualisation to see myself doing the things I needed to with ease, and releasing any emotional attachment to all of it that would block me.

Now at 114kg (I’m 6’5″ so it works better!) I’m not only healthier, but I’ve achieved more in the last year than I did in the previous 10.

I’ve written more books, developed more courses and training, and helped more people including me, my adult children and clients.

I know that my ADHD traits would have made it harder to just force myself to do things. I’d had gym memberships for years and rarely used them.
Anything I do now runs through what’s in my books, and especially what’s in the Recalibration Code.

I knew all of this for years. Knowing and doing with a process and plan is what made the difference. I won’t say “If I could do this then so can you” because it’s not always true. I don’t know your past, or current situation.
What I do know is that systems work. And this works when you use it. I know, because I changed the most, physically, mentally and emotionally in the past 18 months than at any time in my life.

It’s never too late to figure out who you want to be when you grow up.

Success! Stem cells harvested and now in my big sister. Thankfully it seems to be working and as of April 2026 she is getting better, has a functioning immune system and no sign of the leukemia returning.
